Dr. Toubi's practice is designed to be a different kind of experience - one where you have real time with your doctor, your concerns are taken seriously, and you leave with actual answers and a clear plan. Here's what you should know before your first visit.

About the practice

Does Dr. Toubi accept insurance?
Dr. Toubi does not participate in insurance networks. This is an intentional decision that allows her to provide truly personalized, unhurried care without the limitations and administrative constraints that insurance-based practices require. She is able to spend the time necessary to address your concerns comprehensively - something that is simply not possible in a typical insurance-driven practice model.
Can I submit a superbill to my insurance for reimbursement?
Yes. Upon request, Dr. Toubi can provide a superbill - a detailed receipt that includes the services rendered, CPT codes, and provider information - which you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement this way. Contact the office to ask about this option.
What makes this practice different from a standard gynecology practice?
Dr. Toubi's practice is built around proactive, not reactive, healthcare. Every visit is a true "well-care" visit - not a checkbox screening. She integrates menopause care, sexual health, hormonal optimization, metabolic health, and body composition into a comprehensive, individualized plan. She spends real time with each patient and addresses the full picture of your health, not just the presenting complaint.
Is this practice appropriate for younger women, or only those in menopause?
Dr. Toubi sees women of all ages. While she specializes in menopause, midlife health, hormonal changes, sexual pain, and vulvovaginal disorders, she also provides care for conditions like endometriosis, vulvar skin conditions, recurrent infections, and sexual dysfunction that affect women at any stage of life.

About your visit

How long are appointments?
New patient visits are typically scheduled for a full hour. This allows Dr. Toubi to thoroughly review your health history, understand your concerns in depth, explain her findings and recommendations clearly, and answer all your questions. Follow-up appointments are also given appropriate time - you will not feel rushed.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
It's helpful to bring any recent lab work or test results, a list of your current medications and supplements, and notes on your symptoms - including when they started and how they affect your daily life. If you have records from other providers related to your concerns, those are valuable too.
Will procedures be comfortable?
Patient comfort is a genuine priority. For procedures including biopsies, injections, IUD insertions, or endometrial sampling, Dr. Toubi offers nerve blocks and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to minimize discomfort. You don't have to dread your visit or push through unnecessary pain.
Where is the practice located?
Dr. Toubi's practice is located in Beverly Hills, California. Contact the office for the exact address, parking information, and directions. The office is designed for a calm, private, high-touch patient experience.
